4 Newly Made Ornaments in ebay 25th April

On this coming Saturday 25th April 2015, there will be 4 newly made ornaments listed in ebay. Since it’s going to be summertime holidays soon, I have decided that I will be listing lesser ornaments in ebay for May 2015. I think for some of you who are my loyal customers may have long knew about this. I don’t usually list ornaments in mid-May till early July during the summertime. I usually give a break for myself during this period. As I am still along the way keeping my fingers busy over my second preorder on Lanarte design, I will still be busy making some ornaments and will try my best to get them listed in ebay in the next coming week.  As for 4th of July theme ornaments, there will be only one available this week. Yes! The only one and the very last one.

So let’s get started and get a quick peek at the new ornaments this week!

The Sweetheart Tree – Dragonfly Dreams

This is a gorgeous design for summertime. It took me two full days stitching and constructing the ornaments. Lots of special stitching skills are applied to this design. I really love these cute little dragonfly at each corner. Stitched on Platinum Opalescent 32ct Lugana. The glittering effect from the background fabric was beautiful too! However, my camera didn’t managed to catch it.

I later crochet knit the sides of ornament with rainbow crochet lace. Isn’t this lovely?

Stitched on antique white 28ct. Cashel Linen with mill hill seed beads, Butterfly Roses is a cute little elegant design for summertime. I specially picked a matching pink glitter crochet thread to crochet knit the crochet lace at the sides of the ornament.

Just Nan – Pansies

WIPs

nextweek WP1

Pansies is a rare limited edition design from Just Nan designs. I always wanted to stitched her however as I want her to be an ornament with purple tones of crochet lace at sides, therefore I always ended giving up the idea of stitching her since I can’t get the right crochet thread color. Finally one fine day, I found a right color crochet thread in ebay and I purchased it. When the package came I was so happy to see the beautiful multi color tones of purple crochet cotton thread. I finally cross stitch Pansies and later construct it into a cute little multi purple crochet lace ornament. The design was stitched on lavender mist 28ct. belfast linen.

LAST ONE FOR 4th Of July Theme!

Shepherd’s Bush – A Liberty Child

How can I miss this cute little design from Shepherd’s Bush. I have decided not to make anymore 4th of July theme for 2015. This will be the very last one for 4th of July theme. As I have mentioned earlier on, I will be most probably giving myself a break by mid of May. (a break especially for my pair of eyes. lol.) I need to take a good rest and stitch less in summer. I have been too busy stitching larger projects these days and I really do need to give myself a good rest during the summertime. So, here is this little cute Shepherd’s Bush- a Liberty child design.

Stitched on vintage country cream 32ct Belfast linen. *A Liberty Child is also a limited edition kit from Shepherd’s Bush design.

Upcoming Cross Stitching Projects

HAPPY SPRING TIME!!

First, I will like to thank all Ebay bidders and visitors for coming here to visit my little cross stitching blog in wordpress. Thank you so much for loving my needlecraft creations! I hope all of you will have a joyful time visiting here. Time flies, it’s spring time! It was like yesterday that we just celebrated Christmas and New Year then, following Easter. In the next few months, it will be 4th of July, then follow by Halloween, Thanksgiving and then Christmas again. It’s been more than 16 years I have been selling my needlecraft work in ebay. Looks like I’m getting old. Well, but I’m never too old for cross-stitching! (lol) I will keep this passion and love forever! 🙂

Okay, Here’s a summary of what I am cross-stitching currently.

WIPs of my current projects:

WP2

I make these two designs into ornaments and get them listed in ebay on this coming Saturday. I will update the pictures of my newly made ornaments tomorrow here.

~I have also picked my mermaid design stitching wishlist in 2015. I ordered the materials from my supplier on last Friday. I received the package on Tuesday morning. Here they are. I am still lacking two types of Mill Hill beads because they are out of stock. They will be coming in by end of this week. WOW!! Too Many beads….looking at them makes my heart beat faster. So probably you have guess which design I will be stitching. Anyway, I am prepared for the lots and lots of beading work. I picked the design for three reasons. First, I have already had most of the dmc floss needed to stitch the project. Second, I just love the effect with many beads on her, a gorgeous 3D effect when finished. Third, I just love the way how she posed herself in the design. I will be stitching her in a special hand-dyed Ocean Mist -Opalescent 32ct. Belfast Linen. I will hand-dyed the linen myself, so the background color will be special. Hopefully. 🙂

Mirabilia The Queen Mermaid, November Topaz Fairy Ornaments !!

WIPs Of Mirabilia “The Queen Mermaid” Ornament hanger

WP1.3

Started my cross stitching for ‘The Queen Mermaid’ on 7th January 2015. She is the Queen of all mermaids. Holding a treasure box in her hands, her body was stitched with blending floss from dmc floss and kreinik blending filament, adding a gorgeous glittering effect on her body. Also a purple crystal apple bead was stitched in this design. Treasure box was also stitched with kreinik metallic floss. Beautiful!

WP1.4

Queen Mermaid was stitched with lots of mill hill sead beads. Also the design was a little larger in size to fit into my small motif border. However, as you can see from the above picture, all details of mermaid can be seen after finishing cross stitching the small motif design. So it is worth cross stitching some extra parts of the design. I love this mermaid queen! Again borders were stitched with blending floss from dmc and kreinik blending filament.

WP1.5

Okay here is another Mirabilia fairy I stitched along on 9th January 2015. Although she is a November Fairy but it’s always a happy thing to stitch her in January. I had a hard time searching for the 9 pieces of yellow flower beads. Finally, I found the flower beads one day so she finally fall into my cross stitching wishlist.

WP1.6

Stitched with lots of mill hill sead beads, 9 pieces of topaz Swarovski Crystal drops and 9 pieces of yellow flower beads. Some parts of her wings are stitched with blending floss from dmc and kreinik metallic floss. The borders are stitched with blending floss from dmc 926 and kreinik metallic blending filament. Part of the fairy’s hair was also stitched with blending floss from two dmc colors too. November Topaz Fairy is one of the more complicated design to cross stitch in the “fairy of the month series”.
